TWO MEMBERS OF BINALULU GRADUATED IN CARPENTRY

Two founder of Binalulu community training centre graduate in carpentry in December 2010 at Ngalikekero RTC in the North Malaita province. The two RTC graduates were the members of the youths who come up with the initiative to establish the so called binalulu community base organisation. The two were namely, Lynold Fulainao and David Fulairara will be resource persons' in carpertry at the centre.

It was a very huge achievement for the centre to have the two new graduates as resource people. According to Lynold and David both have stated they are more than willing and very happy to share the knowledge and skills they have with their community people.

SKILLS INTO PRACTICLE

Currently the first seven carpentry trainees of Binalulu community training centre are now into their practical in Honiara. The seven were gaining the carpentry skills at the Binalulu community training centre. It was an amaging outcome for both the centre and the trainees as they manage to complete the the semi - permanent two storey building just in one and a half months. The building construction was taken place at white river, banana valley in west Honiara. According to our source the owner of the building paid the seven trainees $9,ooo for their labour. It was a big achievement for both the centre and the trainees. The trainees they obtain the carpentry skills offered at the centre for free and now they earned their living out of the skill they gained from the training at the centre.
